First established in 1948, the theatre has always enjoyed strong links with the surrounding community, and as such has played an important part in Beckenham life over the years. Thousands of local residents have been involved in one way or another, as actors, singers, dancers, directors, stage-hands and audience members. We have a full programme of productions, social nights, weekend performances, set-building, rehearsals, workshops, concerts and events. Our theatre is entirely staffed by volunteers, and the building is in use almost every day of the year. There is always something to do and fun to be had, so there has never been a better time to join. Beckenham Theatre Centre might be 60 years old, but there’s life
in the old girl yet! |
